DSG Limited Warranty Policy

Dream Sporting Gear provides a limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

What is covered

The warranty applies to the original purchaser of a genuine DSG product bought from www.planetdsg.com or an authorised DSG dealer. A valid invoice or other acceptable proof of purchase is required.

Warranty periods

• 6 months: riding jackets, pants, gloves, suits, armour and protectors, jerseys, luggage, riding accessories, technical base layers, and other DSG technical products unless a product page states a different period

• 3 months: riding boots

The period begins on the invoice date or, for an online order, the recorded delivery date where that date is later.

Manufacturing defects covered

Subject to inspection, covered defects may include:

• Stitching failure under normal use

• Zipper, hook-and-loop, buckle, adjuster, slider, button, or similar hardware failure

• Unexpected bonding, panel, or seam-tape failure

• Protector-pocket or structural-component defects not caused by impact

• Material or workmanship defects that make the product unusable for its intended purpose

What is not covered

The warranty does not cover damage or deterioration caused by:

• Normal wear and tear, including expected abrasion, creasing, scuffing, print wear, colour change, or fabric softening

• A crash, fall, slide, collision, impact, cut, puncture, or other riding incident

• Incorrect size or fit, misuse, negligence, use outside the intended purpose, or intentional damage

• Improper washing, cleaning, drying, storage, heat, humidity, moisture, mould, chemicals, or prolonged ultraviolet exposure

• Modification, alteration, or repair by an unauthorised third party

• Odour, sweat-related deterioration, or hygiene-related change

An excluded event affects only damage caused by that event; an unrelated manufacturing defect will still be assessed on its own facts.

DSG Riding Boots

DSG riding boots are covered by a 3-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the terms below.

Eligibility

• The warranty applies to the original purchaser of genuine DSG boots bought from www.planetdsg.com or an authorised DSG dealer in India.

• A valid invoice or other acceptable proof of purchase is required.

• The period begins on the invoice date or, for an online order, the recorded delivery date where that date is later.

What is covered

Subject to inspection, covered manufacturing defects may include:

• Unexpected stitching or bonding failure under normal use

• Zipper, buckle, closure, slider, adjuster, or other hardware failure

• A structural or material defect not caused by impact, wear, incorrect fit, or misuse

What is not covered

• Normal sole, toe-slider, leather, lining, print, colour, or surface wear

• Damage from a crash, fall, slide, collision, impact, cut, puncture, or abrasion

• Damage caused by incorrect fit, misuse, alteration, unauthorised repair, or use outside the product’s intended purpose

• Damage caused by improper cleaning or storage, water ingress beyond the product’s stated specification, mould, excessive heat, chemicals, or prolonged ultraviolet exposure

Graphics and cosmetic wear

• Surface graphics, including neon or printed treatments, may fade, crease, or peel at high-flex and high-contact areas during normal use.

• Cosmetic change alone is treated as normal wear.

• Any separate failure of the underlying leather, stitching, bonding, hardware, or structural material will still be assessed under this warranty.

Assessment and remedy

• Each claim is assessed using the invoice, product history, photographs or video, and physical inspection where required.

• If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, the available remedy may be repair, replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the nature of the defect, product availability, and applicable law.

Shipping for warranty claims

• Dream Sporting Gear will bear reasonable shipping costs for a confirmed manufacturing defect.

• If inspection finds that the issue is not covered, the customer may be responsible for shipping the product to and from our service location; any charge will be communicated before dispatch.

Warranty Claim Procedure

Use this procedure if you believe your product has a manufacturing defect within the applicable warranty period.

Submit your claim

• Click Submit warranty claim on our warranty page and complete the form.

• Once submitted, your claim will be sent to our warranty team at warranty@planetdsg.com.

Initial review

• We aim to acknowledge your claim within 2 business days.

• Our team may ask for additional information or request a physical inspection.

• Do not ship the product until you receive written instructions and the correct service address.

Physical inspection

• Inspection may consider the product’s age, use, condition, care, fit, prior damage, and the nature and location of the reported issue.

• Sending a product for inspection does not by itself mean that the claim has been approved.

Outcome

• If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, the available remedy may be repair, replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the nature of the defect, product availability, and applicable law.

• We will explain the outcome in writing.

Shipping costs

• Dream Sporting Gear will bear reasonable shipping costs for a confirmed manufacturing defect.

• If the issue is not covered, you may be responsible for shipping the product to and from our service location.

• We will communicate any return charge before dispatch.

Expected timing

• We aim to complete an assessment within 14 working days after the product reaches our service location.

• Transit time, parts availability, or technical complexity may extend this period.

• If so, we will provide an update.
